David G. Banda, DDS

Dr. David George Banda completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan in 1986. In 1991, he completed the Implant Surgical and Prosthetic Program from The Misch Implant Institute in cooperation with The University of Pittsburgh. As an advocate of life-long education, both for himself and his patients, Dr. Banda has continued his education, receiving various Fellowships, Certificates, and Diplomate awards from such institutes as the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Osseointegration, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Banda is a sought-after speaker who has addressed peers and colleagues on such issues as advanced surgical techniques, implantology, and integrating digital equipment into the dental office. Additionally, he has regularly contributed articles on dental health to the Observer/Eccentric Newspaper.

As a cosmetic dentist, Dr. Banda understands that his practice thrives when he and his team create lasting bonds with patients. To this end, Cranbrook Dental Care prioritizes patient education, and helps patients to accept the ultimate responsibility for their own dental health.

Dr. Alin Alias

Dr. Alin Alias was born and raised in Iraq and at the age of thirteen, he moved to Canada with his parents and his two brothers. He is very well versed in both Arabic and the English language and has a charming and reassuring chairside manner. He attended the University of Windsor where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honors in Biological Sciences). Dr. Alias participated in various mentorship, leadership, and humanitarian projects during his undergraduate studies. His valuable participation and passion for science and helping people has led him to choose the field of dentistry as his lifelong career and profession.

Dr. Alias obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. As a Doctor of Dental Surgery candidate, he attended various externship programs at different dental institutions where he observed complex surgical and non-surgical dental procedures. He received numerous awards, including the Outstanding Student Leader Award from the American College of Dentists (Michigan Section) and the Leadership Recognition Award from Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Dr. Alias is passionate about cosmetics and digital dentistry. He provides treatments in all areas of general dentistry, including family dentistry, cosmetics and implants. His attention to detail is textbook perfect and he is very proud of providing the most optimal dental care in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. Dr. Alias is devoted to continual learning about all aspects of dentistry above what is required. He obtained a Fellowship certificate from the MISCH Implant Institute after completing numerous hours of implant education. He joins Dr. Banda as a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He loves to constantly attend continuing education courses and participates in various hands-on workshops. His ultimate objective is to best treat his patients and meet their dental needs.

During his free time, Dr. Alias enjoys spending time with friends and family. He enjoys playing soccer, exercising in the gym, and participating in outdoor activities. He also enjoys traveling and visiting different countries around the world.
